Abstract
We present a noncontact optical-mechatronic device for measuring deviations of straightness of the linearly moving elements of technological equipment. The straightness deviations have been measured by optic-electronic means simultaneously along two axes of coordinates in the plane perpendicular to the direction of motion of the technological machine element. Measurement principles of the device are based on encoding straightness deviation in the difference of phase of signals obtained from the moving and immobile photo sensors when modulated light was applied. The device can be used for measurement, testing, and accuracy analysis of technological machines.
