Abstract
The technique of securing information display first proposed by Yamamoto, Hayasaki, and Nishida [Opt. Lett. 28, 1564-1566 (2003)] aims at protecting the displayed information by using a decoding mask with a limited viewing zone. Their encoding approaches were inherited from visual cryptography. We study several variants of securing information display for multiple secrets. By exploiting some primitive and informative features of binary images (instead of inheriting from visual cryptography), we design novel schemes to resolve these new problems. Our schemes extend the studies of securing information display and enrich the feasibility and flexibility of their applications.
