For the first time, by using Aquapol-5 and Aquapol-7, polishing tools’ present-day measuring means, and a new technology of precision polishing of glass optics, the surface finish of Ra<1nm and the reflected light scattering factor of Kv0.003% have been achieved. © 2001 Society of Photo-Optical Instrumentation Engineers.
