Abstract
A contemporary time and spectral analysis of oil fluorescence is important for the detection of oil spills on the sea. An airborne fluorosensor, able to perform this analysis, has been asked to CISE labs by IRC-Ispra. The main feature of the system is the use of a streak camera and of a tripled Nd-YAG laser with 2 ns laser pulse duration.
