Abstract
A new apparatus was designed and constructed for the endoscopic visualization of cavities within the brain. The endoscope was coupled to a very high resolution video camera and monitor to facilitate visualization and provide high resolution visual records. The system has been used safely and effectively in clinical practice. The design considerations, construction, and use of the device are reported.
