Abstract
The VIKOR method was explored for multi-criteria optimization of complex systems. It determines the compromise ranking list and the compromise solution with the initial weight. ERP selection is part of key factors for companies to implement ERP. This paper puts forward the selection criteria of ERP software. Because the criteria value of an ERP software is fuzzy, the opinions of experts in the selection group are often inconsistent. In view of this situation, this paper puts forward ERP software selection of companies based on an extension of VIKOR method. By calculating the group utility, individual regret and benefit ratio with triangular numbers, and then rank the alternatives by the possibility matrix. The best ERP software is given. Finally, a case is illustrated to test the new method.
