Abstract
Large-scale structure in the universe provides key information on structure formation, which is widely investigated by galaxy surveys. We investigate the galaxy distribution based on regression analysis by performing five different calculations of the two-point correlation function. The fitting images are compared for z=0, z=0.5, z=1, z=2, at four different redshifts. According to the analysis, it was obtained that the fitting effects of the five calculation methods were less different at low redshift. Besides, the fitting results of the five methods at different redshifts are basically the same when the value of comoving distance is greater than 10 Mpc/h. On the basis of this statistical result, the formation and evolution of the structure of galaxies can be further analyzed and studied. These results shed light on guiding further exploration of the distribution and evolution of galaxies.
