Abstract

Analyzing the hot topics and frontier evolution in the field of basketball teaching and learning is important for the development of basketball teaching and learning research in China. In this paper, the keyword network mapping in the field of basketball teaching research in CSSCI and Chinese core journals from 2000 to 2021 was mapped using the econometric software CiteSpace for visual analysis. The results showed that the research hotspots in the field of basketball teaching include teaching models, experimental research, colleges and universities, skill transfer, teaching theory and practice, and so on. The latest frontiers of basketball teaching research are focused on the integration of sports and education, teaching model, and teaching reform. It is suggested that future research should establish a multidisciplinary perspective, strengthen cross-institutional and cross-disciplinary cooperation, innovate basketball teaching models, improve the quality of basketball teaching, and build a basketball teaching theory and practice system.
