Abstract
The emergence of rotary steering drilling system is well adapted to the needs of high-difficult drilling operations in directional wells. Buckling analysis of bottom hole assembly can guide drilling operation and has guiding significance for field application of rotary steering drilling system. Based on the structure of a push-type rotary steering system, this paper uses Abaqus finite element software to solve the buckling mode of RSBHA and further solve the critical buckling load of RSBHA.
