Abstract
The new method of nondestructive remote control of a structure, material properties and defects in ear surface layers of construction materials is proposed. It is based upon laser excitation of surface acoustic waves (SAW) and its remote registration by detection of IR radiation, arising due to dilation temperature variation in SAW. Theoretical foundation of this technique is developed. The estimates show the reliability of the laser-induced surface acoustic waves; IR detection method. The method is especially convenient for investigation of a samples under elevated temperatures and with rough surfaces.
