Abstract
The SXI detector is designed to cover the 6 angstrom-60 angstrom soft x-ray band and operate in a single photon or integrating camera mode. The detector is based upon a MCP intensifier/converter coupled to a CCD via phosphor coated fiber optic. This paper discusses the detector characterization and calibration to date.
