Abstract

The optical properties in the UV, visible and IR spectral regions are reported for polycrystalline Mg A1₂0₄ fabricated by hot-pressing high purity starting powders. Room temperature mechanical properties and the strength at elevated temperatures will be reported. Data will be presented for flat discs and hemispherical domes.
