Abstract
Based on the principle of holographic imaging, the electroholographic display of digital holograms is performed with a liquid crystal device, LC-R 2500. The size and the position of the reconstruction image are effectively described and numerically analyzed, and the 3-D display is demonstrated by reconstructing a synthesized hologram calculated with volume slice approach. Theoretical results confirm and predict experimental results, and further research to optimize the 3-D reconstruction is suggested.
