Abstract
In this paper, a novel phase regenerator with semiconductor optical amplifier is proposed. By theoretical analysis and simulation, the optimum parameters of phase regenerator are obtained. By comparing the phasor diagrams, received data and Q-factors before and after regeneration, the effectiveness of the phase regenerator is proved. The results show that nearly ideal regeneration is achieved and Q-factors are gotten great improvement.
