Abstract
X ray film is usually used for detecting the crack of the metal in the industry field, but it is inefficient and fallible for men to distinguish the crack from the noise background if the number of the X ray film is so many. In this paper, a very applied method based on the matched filtering is proposed. To realize the method, matched filtering the origin image, and then edge detecting. In order to realize the effect of the method , the crack will be measured and the edge of the crack will be marked with red color. According to the simulation, the method is feasible and reliable.
