Abstract
In this paper, we used an efficient dye laser with a 0.03 cm-1 bandwidth which was pumped by the second harmonic frequency of Nd:YAG laser. Saturation parameters obtained by Nodvik equation are used to measure output power of the amplifier. For investigating the effect of the flow rate on laser performances, the jet stream was changed. Maximum stored power density in different flow rates was compared and in all stages, laser efficiency was calculated for a constant pump power. An average efficiency in all experiments was obtained 28.32%.
