Abstract
Restoration of a degraded image from motion blurring is highly dependent on the estimation of the point spread function, which depends on the blur orientation and the blur extent. In this paper, we present a spectral analysis of image gradients, which has more strong periodic strips compare the spectrum of image. The experiments on simulated images show that our algorithm is capable of accurately identifying the blurring kernel for a wider range of blur orientation and blur extent. Furthermore, it’s been proved to be more robust to noise over available techniques.
