Abstract
When using our first image computer, a number of specific needs were discovered, this computer could not answer to. These lacks resulted in a new image computer, which is presented in this paper. The basic hardware, namely the interconnection network and its interfaces, is kept modular and extensible, as to anticipate future needs. Besides this design frame, the most relevant features of some existing processor modules will be given in order to illustrate the possibilities of the image computers.
