Abstract
Due to the incomplete and partial nature of information in the computer vision, multisensor fusion and spatial reasoning problem domains, the image algebra is extended to a stochastic image algebra and a stochastic world model. These stochastic models provide a systematic approach to the parallel or neural network implementation of algorithms in computer vision, multisensor fusion and spatial reasoning.
