Program Committee IntroductionThe application and development of x-ray imaging technology plays a key role in military and civilian fields. With the development of technology, traditional methods of x-ray imaging cannot meet the existing needs. New technologies of x-ray imaging improve the quality and efficiency of imaging by combining novel physical detection principles, advanced detection techniques, new methods of x-ray imaging, image reconstruction and quantitative analysis. Frontier ray imaging technology is widely used in national defense, biomedicine, materials science and other fields. From 21–23 November 2016, the First Symposium on Novel Technology of X-Ray Imaging was held in Wuxi by the three synchrotron radiation sources of the Chinese Society for Optical Engineering. The symposium was highly praised by experts and scholars participating in the Symposium and filled the gaps in the field of radiography in China. From 26–28 November 2018, the Second Symposium on Novel Technology of X-Ray Imaging was held in Hefei, organized by the Chinese Society of Optical Engineering, jointly with the three major synchrotron radiation sources: the Chinese Academy of Atomic Energy Sciences, the Northern Night Vision Technology Co., Ltd. and the Chinese Academy of Engineering Physics. The organizing committee invited renowned experts and scholars from home and abroad to attend the symposium. We discussed the latest research achievements in the field of x-ray imaging technology. We sincerely welcomed the contributions of researchers from relevant research institutes, teachers and postgraduates from colleges and universities. Hesheng Chen |
