Abstract
On the shoreline of the Lake Baikal (near Goryachinsk village) a connection is established between wave hydrodynamic and electrical processes. The physics of the phenomenon belongs to the class of hydroelectric effects. The natural filtrational electric field is associated with the movement of the running up water wave in porous sand. The electric field is formed when fresh water flows inside the porous structure of sand. The equipment and measurement technique are considered. The results of measurements are presented at various conditions of the wave process.
