Abstract

A new diode pumped laser for ultrafast lasers, providing high energy and high repetition rate; Surelite 4 draws upon 40 years of laser design experience. Energy through Efficiency is a recognition that the best high energy laser beams are produced when excess heat is kept as low as possible in the gain media. This system produces 100 Hz with sufficient energy and beam quality to pump high energy, high repetition rate ultrafast lasers. The flashlamp pumped Surelite lasers will continue alongside the Surelite 4 satisfying a market demand for these utilitarian flashlamp pulsed lasers.
