Abstract
This article reviews recent data on milliwatt CO2 laser-assisted arterial anastomoses as an update to the review presented at last year's SPIE conference. Highlighted are the basic mechanical properties of vascular repair. New information which strengthens or refutes past theory about laser repair is also considered.
