Abstract
With the rapid economic growth in China in recent years, more attention has been paid to the construction of urban transportation. This paper studies the relationship between traffic accessibility and economic connection strength by constructing a time and space distance model, a spatial syntax model and an economic connection strength model and the Guanzhong urban agglomeration is taken as an example for verification. The research results show that:①The accessibility of the Guanzhong urban agglomeration presents a “core-peripheral” spatial pattern, with the core area of Xi’an-Xianyang being the best, followed by Tongchuan and Weinan. The distant Tianshui City, Pingliang City, and Linfen City performed the weakest; ②The spatial syntax model studies the relationship between the road network of the Guanzhong Plain urban agglomeration, and the integration of different types of road networks reflects the neutral "Xi'an-Xianyang" core circle, which constitutes Integrated core within the city cluster. ③The spatial autocorrelation value of the degree of transportation network connection and the degree of economic connection reaches 0.840, and the level of economic development greatly promotes the construction of urban agglomeration transportation systems.
