Abstract
With the development of urban construction, electricity consumption by industry and residents has gradually increased. The consequential increase of noise and intensity of electromagnetic field around the substation have provoked the complaints and panic of residents living around. Thus it is necessary to measure them to show the public that the exact strength of noise and electromagnetic radiation and whether they meet the standard. To find out the source of noise and electromagnetic field in smart substation, the causes of noise from the core magnetostrictive phenomenon of transformers and the electromagnetic environment in substation is analyzed. Through the analysis, the basis for the design of the noise and electromagnetic field monitoring devices of the smart substation is obtained. In addition, the A-weighting network is used foe data preprocessing to get noise intensity data that corresponds to human ear by adjusting the weights of different frequency components of noise. The Hall Sensor is used to design the device that can monitor the magnetic strength. Since its accuracy is sensitive to the temperature change, the accuracy compensation and temperature compensation circuit is designed. Then next, the communication system is designed according to the requirements of communication in different sceneries. Finally, the sensitivity and accuracy of the system were verified through actual results obtaining from Chongqing Jiangjin 110 kV Shanshu Smart Substation which the system is applied to.
