Abstract
Safety is one of the key issues in the future development of automobiles. Not only in the field of driving assistance and power drive, but also in the field of vehicle dynamic control and active and passive safety systems, more and more electronic control functions are related to the field of safety engineering of system. Functional safety has become the latest requirement for the development of electronic control systems of automotive in the world. It focuses on specific electrical components, electronic devices, programmable electronic devices and other special components in the automotive industry, with the aim of improving the functional safety of automotive electronic and electrical products. In the paper, based on functional safety technology, functional safety for regenerative braking system of electric vehicle has been designed. In addition safety mechanism and requirements, it has been tested and verified, which provided design scheme and test evaluation method to meet requirements of ASIL C.
