Abstract

With the continuous progress of science and technology, in order to reduce drivers caused by human factors of road traffic safety accidents; Improve traffic efficiency and alleviate serious traffic congestion; Reduce the heavy driving burden of drivers, make travel more relaxed and happy; Provide new means of travel, so that some inconvenient driving people can facilitate travel; Research, promotion and application of artificial intelligence technology in the automotive industry to achieve industrial upgrading. The research, popularization and application of automatic driving vehicles have an important and profound influence. This article has reviewed the development of self-driving cars intention including its historical development and has ongoing research and development of part of the car company, analyzes the existing automatic driving technology including the autopilot system and software and research self-driving cars now progress, through the introduction and analysis of the automatic driving test accident, put forward the deficiencies and problems. Finally, the future development and improvement direction are put forward.
