Abstract
Achieving the double carbon target is a well-thought-out strategic decision made by the CPC Central Committee and a major national strategy with overall, comprehensive, fundamental and long-term characteristics. With the dual carbon target, the power system needs profound changes. As one of the earliest countries in the world to initiate the transformation of energy and electricity, Germany has a wealth of high proportion of renewable energy power system operation and management capacity. This paper analyzes the general situation, management experience, technical experience and supporting market experience of German power system, which provides reference for China to construct a new power system with new energy as the main position under the dual carbon background.
