Abstract
The rapid progress of Information Technology has brought tremendous technological changes in the language service sector. Terminology management with computer-aided translation support is a "powerful tool" for translators to improve translation efficiency and ensure translation quality. Rational and systematic terminology management can enhance accuracy, consistency, and sustainable use of translation terms and ensure readable and scientific translation. This paper has elaborated on terminology management and its significance in translation. Taking the Trados as an example, it has analyzed and discussed the terminology management application and its positive effects on improving translation quality.
