Abstract
The influence of inclined shaft on thrust bearing was analyzed. The physical model was firstly built. The flow field of the oil film of thrust bearing was simulated by using the fluid dynamics simulation software based on the principle of fluid dynamics. What is more, the characteristics of the flow field were obtained. The influence of tilt angle on the distribution of oil film pressure field and temperature field is investigated. Then the calculated results are shown by diagrams. The results are analyzed in detail. The results demonstrate that axis inclination will cause the uneven distribution of temperature field and pressure field, and increase the pressure and temperature of the oil film at some pads. The heterogeneity of the distribution increases when the tilt angle increases
