Abstract
In order to solve the problem of trackless transportation of materials and equipment in vertical shaft coal mines, in view of the restricted space where vertical shaft cage dimensions are generally ≤5.0m in length and ≤2.0m in width, and the diversified transportation needs of underground, as well as the harsh working conditions such as slippery and sloping roads, a platform-based R&D model is proposed to first develop a compact articulated main platform of power transmission based on which the development of a series of articulated explosion-proof rubber-tyred vehicles that can enter and exit the vertical shaft cage directly. The key technologies such as the overall design of the vehicle, determination of the main parameters, development of the compact platform, multi-mode design of the driving unit, expanded design of working devices. The articulated trackless rubber-tyred vehicles for vertical shafts applying the above key technologies and design solutions have been verified in Wangcun coal mine of Jinneng Holding Group. The test results show that: the technical performance of vehicle fully meets the needs of the production site, The research on the key technology, design ideas and methods of the compact trackless rubber wheeled vehicle can solve the problems of the trackless vehicles enter and exit the vertical shaft cage directly, diverse transportation needs and poor safety protection in harsh working conditions.
