Abstract
As a kind of neurological disease therapy without destroying nerve tissue, electrical nerve stimulation technology has significant efficacy in the treatment of chronic pain, Parkinson's disease, epilepsy, obsessive-compulsive disorder and other functional neurological diseases and mental diseases. As the result of electrical nerve stimulation technology, implantable neuro-stimulator devices thus have a wide application prospect. This paper introduces the current application of various kinds of implantable neuro-stimulator worldwide and some advances in the research of implantable neurostimulator, and also analyzes its development trend. The purpose of this paper is to help readers to have a comprehensive understanding of the basic working principle of main kinds of neural electrical stimulators, and can be a reference for the future development of this technology.
