Abstract
Measurements of SWIR, MWIR, and LWIR cameras are compared to spectral modeling. Measurements of response, noise, dark current, modulation transfer function (MTF), point spread function (PSF), and well capacity are compared to theoretical values. Cameras with dynamically changeable spectral cold filters and cold apertures are used across the 1 μm to 12 μm spectral range to investigate the ability of our straightforward models to predict performance. The effects of atmospheric conditions and target ranges are modeled and compared to experiment.
