Abstract
This paper sampled 2948 primary school students in Guangdong Province, according to the test results of sports projects, the linear regression model was applied to correct the sports projects such as age, weight, gender, height, vital capacity and body mass index, and from multiple levels, different school districts and grades were used to demonstrate the correlation between sports and their academic performance, including the effect between English, Mathematics and Chinese, and the effect value was evaluated by various analysis methods such as meta-analysis. Subsequently, the bias correlation coefficient was further used to correlate the one-minute rope skipping exercise ability and the cultural performance of English, Mathematics and Chinese. The results showed that the score of one-minute rope skipping was positively correlated with the test results of English, Mathematics and Chinese culture courses, which further suggested the importance of young people's active participation in sports to improve their academic performance.
