Abstract

As a big country with a vast territory, China has great differences in natural resources, population and other innate factors among different provinces. After the reform and opening up, China's economic growth has made remarkable achievements. With the economic growth, it has become an indisputable fact that the income gap of China residents is widening. This paper reveals the overall trend and internal transmission path of intergenerational change of residents' income inequality and puts forward a mathematical statistical model of income inequality and income flow. ML (Machine learning) algorithm is used to classify, process and analyze the data, forecast the income of residents, and provide technical support for formulating policies to alleviate income inequality. The results show that the accuracy of this algorithm is higher than that of the comparison algorithm, reaching 95.47%. Applying this model to the research of income inequality and income flow can help the administrative department to master the development law of residents' income and help to formulate effective management policies for the problem of income inequality.
