Abstract
In this article, the deep convolutional neural network is applied to the recognition of diseases and insect pests of crops such as apple, grape and corn. By training the neural network model, adjusting the network layer number and introducing transfer learning, several network models such as AlexNet, ResNet, VGGNet and DenseNet are compared and combined with the network scale, Finally, ResNet is selected as the backbone network for consideration of recognition accuracy and other aspects. The server side adopts Django framework, displays the interface on PC platform, realizes the actual operation of crop disease and insect pest identification.
