Abstract
With the rapid development of new power systems, energy storage, as an important flexible resource, needs to play an important role in the power market. As a power-limited resource, a reasonable dispatching model need to be built for energy storage. In this paper, the methods of energy storage participating in peak shaving market and their advantages and disadvantages are analyzed. A dispatching model considering multi-period coupling of energy storage participating in peak shaving market is constructed. Finally, an example is given to verify the beneficial effect of the model on the economy and safety of the system.
