Abstract
Aiming at the rapid location of IGBT open circuit fault diagnosis, this paper builds a new single 13-level inverter topology in Matlab/Simulink based on the 13-level inverter topology, The FFT harmonic analysis tool is used to obtain the harmonic decomposition diagram of the output voltage under the open circuit fault of the IGBT tube under the reverse stacked modulation strategy. The amplitude and phase of each harmonic in the fault state are recorded, and the characteristic subharmonics and their characteristic vectors that can be used for fault diagnosis are determined through data analysis. The results show that the amplitude and phase of the second harmonic, third harmonic, fourth harmonic and second hundredth harmonic of the output voltage under FFT analysis can be used as input characteristic quantities for fault location.
