Abstract

This essay provides an overview of bioreactor membrane (MBR) technology and its recent applications in industrial sewage treatment in wastewater treatment plants (WWTP). It begins with an introduction that outlines the importance of industrial sewage treatment and the paper's purpose. It then provides an overview of industrial sewage treatment in WWTP, the current challenges faced in this area, and the need for advanced wastewater treatment technologies. The essay discusses MBR technology, its features and advantages, and how it works in WWTP of industrial wastewater. Next, their benefits and challenges are presented with the recent application of MBR technology in industrial sewage treatment in Shanghai Jinshanwei WWTP. The essay concludes with a summary of the key points discussed, the potential future of MBR technology in industrial sewage treatment, and recommendations for further research and development of MBR technology in this field.
