Abstract
As a large railway maintenance equipment, the dynamic track stabilizer can effectively improve the quality status of the ballast track bed but would cause deterioration of track regularity. To study the influence of the operating parameters of the dynamic track stabilizer on the track subsidence, this paper conducts the line test research for the first time, using the WD-320 dynamic track stabilizer and the track subsidence test device, and investigates the influence of the operating frequency, operating speed and down pressure of the stabilizer on the track subsidence through the control variable method. And the numerical model of the track subsidence under stabilizer operation was developed through data fitting and theoretical analysis. The results show that within the normal operating parameters of the stabilizer, the track subsidence increases with increasing operating frequency, increasing down pressure, and decreasing operating speed, respectively. The established model has good accuracy and the error rates between the model calculated values and the additional test data are all within 10%. Besides, the amount of subsidence of the left and right rails is independently related to the left and right side's down pressure of the stabilizer. This study provides the basis of the research on the prevention of track regularity deterioration under the dynamic track stabilizer operation.
