Abstract
OD matrix is the basic data of traffic planning and management, which plays an important role in traffic planning and management. Integrating big data into traffic planning and management is the main task of accelerating urban traffic planning at present. Based on Baidu Map API platform, this paper uses Python language to write a set of code that can realize road section data collection, and the traffic volume of road section can be calculated based on the collected data. The OD matrix estimation method is analyzed, and the optimal OD matrix is obtained by the traffic allocation method based on the traffic volume. Through TransCAD software platform, taking the road network of Lanzhou City as an example, OD matrix estimation was conducted in TransCAD software based on the method of user balance assignment, and OD matrix of the current situation of Lanzhou City was obtained,it lays a foundation for future traffic planning.
