Abstract
This paper focuses on the typical demand management strategy of time-sharing differential pricing, and studies the formulation method of time-sharing pricing strategy of rail transit for peak congestion relief based on the basic ideas of peak diversion and peak cutting, so as to provide method support for the formulation of differential pricing. Based on the analysis of the impact of ticket price changes on peak passenger flow, considering the revenue loss that the operating enterprises can bear, a time-sharing differential discount pricing model is established with the goal of maximizing the matching degree of transport capacity and volume, so as to scientifically determine the discount period of time-sharing pricing. The empirical study on Beijing Metro Batong line shows that time-sharing pricing does alleviate peak congestion, and different discount time will affect the effect of time-sharing pricing policy.
