This paper discusses the defects of the traditional economic evaluation model of investment projects, and points out that the traditional economic evaluation of investment projects cannot meet the requirements of sustainable development because it only pays attention to economic benefits and does not fully consider the long-term impact of projects on the environment. Based on the discussion of the connotation of environmental economic value, this paper studies the economic evaluation model of investment projects from the perspective of sustainable development.
