Abstract
Apatite type lanthanum silicate shows high conductivity and low activation energy at medium and low temperatures. In order to improve the conductivity of lanthanum silicate at medium and low temperatures (500-800 °C), this article studies the conductivity of Al and Nd co-doped lanthanum silicate at different sintering temperatures. The SEM images, relative density, and linear shrinkage of La9.33Si5.5Nd0.4Al0.5O26.35 at different sintering temperatures are compared. The results show that the optimal sintering temperature is 1500 °C. EIS analysis shows that the electrochemical impedance spectra of Al and Nd co-doped at 600 °C, it was found that La9.33Si5.5Nd0.4Al0.5O26.35 has the best conductivity of 6.46×10-4 Sꞏcm-1.
