Abstract
In this paper, a heuristic intelligent optimization algorithm is proposed to optimize the controller parameters of the interconnected power system in two regions. This method uses the regional control deviation of each region as the objective function and uses the PID controller with improved whale optimization algorithm to control the load frequency, so as to minimize the fluctuation of the load frequency within the specified range. Finally, the simulation results show that the optimization method adopted in this paper has good control effect and robustness for both frequency deviation and regional control deviation of the system under different disturbance signals.
