Abstract
In order to improve the management level of urban road traffic safety and promote the sustainable development of transportation, the systematic Decision Making Laboratory Analysis (DEMATEL) method is used to analyze the factors affecting urban road traffic safety. On the basis of sorting out the urban road traffic safety influencing factors in four aspects, such as people, vehicles, roads and environment, the DEMATEL model for systematic factor analysis is established; the direct influence matrix of systematic factors is determined and the comprehensive influence matrix of factors is calculated; the comprehensive influence matrix is used to calculate the degree of influence, the degree of influenced, the centrality and the degree of cause of each factor, to determine the causal attributes of each factor, and to find out the systematic. Finally, the effectiveness of the proposed DEMATEL model for system factor analysis is verified by taking an urban road transportation system as an example. The results show that eight key factors in the system can be identified using the model, including four key cause factors and four key effect factors. The constructed DEMATEL model is practicable, and the results of system critical factor identification using the model can provide a reference for decision-making related to urban traffic safety management.
