Abstract

In today’s information society, there is a wide range of sources of information, and the increasing abundance of various types of information has brought great difficulties to all walks of life, as well as more difficulties to practitioners. Combining computer technology (CT) with information management (IM) is the key to improving the information construction of local applied undergraduate colleges and universities. This article discusses the way of integrating computer application technology and IM. On the basis of modern information technology, the IM system can comprehensively adjust the information collection path, analysis methods, and classification standards, and process commonly used information to adapt to the development trend of the information society, integrate advanced technologies such as big data (BD) technology into the IM work mechanism, improve work efficiency and the accuracy of information classification, and provide more convenience for social production and people’s daily lives. Finally, comparing the satisfaction evaluations of information collection paths, analysis methods, work efficiency, information classification, and path integration in the IM system in the context of BD with those in the traditional context, it can be obtained that the highest satisfaction value of path integration in the context of BD is 9. Therefore, the application of BD in the integration of computers and IM is very worthy of in-depth research.
