Abstract
The present paper investigates how to enhance the coupling strength between the cavity mode and the waveguide fundamental mode by adjusting the angle of the waveguide to microcavity connection. Theoretical and simulation results indicate that with the variation of the connection angle between the waveguide and the microcavity, there are two connection angles that keep the propagation constants of the waveguide fundamental mode and the intracavity WG mode consistents. The microcavity can reach a high Q value mode while effectively improving the coupling output intensity with the smaller connection angle.
