Abstract
The rapid development of 5G communication technology has made the energy consumption problem of base stations more prominent. This article explores the power consumption characteristics of base stations through experimental measurements and data analysis. The least squares method was used to fit the base station power and voltage data, the relationship between them was revealed, and the fitting curve was drawn. These curves show that the optimal voltage points vary for different types of base stations. Finally, it was concluded that it was recommended to set the operating voltage of the signal base station to 51V to improve the economic power consumption of the power station.
