Abstract
To tackle the fluctuating power quality challenges stemming from the functioning of distributed solar photovoltaic systems, a thorough assessment approach has been developed. This approach focuses on evaluating solar photovoltaic power quality by taking into account the temporal probability distribution. It includes the examination of data related to distributed photovoltaic power quality indicators, guided by their time-based probabilistic distribution. The composite weights are then calculated using the Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP) and an improved entropy weight method for the probability indicator matrix, avoiding the drawbacks of subjective decision-making and detachment from reality. Furthermore, a comprehensive evaluation method for distributed photovoltaic power quality based on an improved Technique for Order of Preference by Similarity to Ideal Solution (TOPSIS) is proposed. This approach considers the variable shifts in solar photovoltaic power quality metrics and showcases, via case studies, the effective application of this probabilistic and comprehensive assessment method to power distribution networks incorporating distributed solar photovoltaic systems.
